Stuck in limp mode

Default Stuck in limp mode

2005 GT auto stick stuck in Limp mode
Pick this up for $460 they told me it had an electrical problem it was stuck in limp mode.
Drove it home drove fine shifted fine after I got at home restart stuck in limp mode. replace coil pack Shifting fine again after restart stuck in limp mode. Ben stuck in limp mode ever since traced All 8 Wires from the Coil pack plug to the computer all check out good. from the relay power down to the coil Pack good Found no problem with wiring did notice when I shift into auto stick 1st Gear light is not luminate But square boxes around park reverse neutral drive do Take it back out of auto stick and the square boxes go away believe when I shift into auto stick it should show me 1 for low 2 For 2nd and that Box is empty no light the code I get is P0750 low reverse only circuit can anyone help out

Well I just went back out there shifted into low auto Auto stick Went into gear took it for a ride everything shifted fine restarted the car everything still working I think I have a terminal that is intermittent I know wires are good. I'll try and drive It around to see I'll react.

You may also have a weak front transmission pump. The symptoms are that it will work okay when cold but then periodically goes into limp home mode. Sometimes, it will just needs a restart to work okay again for a while. The best plan is to find a transmission shop that you trust and have them check it out.

OK after checking wires at pcm for L/R pin 19 and 28 are hot with key on this is good.
12 and 14 are ground they show they are grounded before key is on and after key is on
don't think this is write I would think they would ground when called for not all the time

any thoughts

If I am understanding correctly you get intermitily a square box around some of the PRNDL letters on the dash?

On the C4 PCM plug with the green stripe, pinouts 12 and 14 are grounded t0 the chassis of the car. So ground is constant even without the ignition being on. Here's the diagram.

When you are in limp mode you are getting squares around every letter of the PRNDL display on the dash?
