Default Normal Boost Output for Stock GT

I just installed my boost and oil gauge yesterday and am wondering if my car is on que.

1st Gear- 5 Boost.
2-5 gear, 10 boost. Seemed too hit 11 in 2nd and 3rd about half the time.

Just wondering if this sounds right for a stock pt gt. Thanks for any help!

It really depends on the weather and if the computer thinks it's okay to give you a little extra boost. 5 pounds is normal for first and in the reast of the gears I've seen as little as 10 pounds and as much as 15 pounds (I'm not talking spikes of boost, I'm talking levels that are held for a bit of time).

I live in Michigan. While driving it was about 60 degree's F.

Another Question. Does anyone know what boost levels to expect from the install of stage 1?

I have a 2004 model, dont know if their is a change of boost between model years.

The PCM relies on air density figures, not necessarily boost, to determine when to open the wastegate. This way, at higher altitudes and higher temperatures, it allows a litte more boost to compensate for the lower air density.
