George, how'd you get the AGP WGA to fit...we've been told by others they are too large to fit the Cruisers. APG has a new billet WGA coming out within two weeks that is supposed to fit (according to AGP)

Deen
I had to cut the bracket in half that holds the intake manifold to the head.
I only used the side that bolts up to the pasengerside of the intake manifold and head.
Had no problem bolting on the AGP Wastegate after that.
I wanted to make sure I still had something supporting the manifold to make it solid.Because without the bracket I could see and feel the manifold vibrating. So I new that would be a bad idea to leave the bracket off all together.

But thats what I did.

Edit:Also I forgot you have to roll the lip a little on the heat shield so the wastegate actuartor rod don't rub it.
And the wastegate canister sits real close to the valvecover.

But that is exactly the way the AGP Wastegate fits on the SRT's.
So don't let that worry you if you try test fitting one.

Oh and some of the guys from the SRT club have been talking about getting that new billet wastegate also.

I remember seeing you there. You were parked right by the neons and when we walked by you were looking under the hood talking to a guy. I remember because I was telling my friends that the blue was my first color chioce but I couldn't find one so I got a black one instead.I live in Evansville, Indiana about 180 miles away. That was the first time I had been to Monster Mopar and it was a very cool show.Talk to ya later. Jason

Man I can't wait till tomorrow. Its supposed to be realy nice here in St.Louis.

Perfect drag race weather.Around 75 degrees at race time.30 to 40% humidity.No rain.And around a 8 mph tail wind.

Almost exactly the same conditions as when I ran the 13.8/99mph.
Thats good because now I can get a little better idea if my Intake manifold work and the Cold Air Intake picked the PT up any.

Do any of you go to the dragstrip in your areas very regular?

Yes George, there's a group of us who hook up at California Speedway every month for the street legal drags. Some Stage 1 equipped, some not, and one with a GReddy Profec B EBC. My S1 equipped ride runs pretty consistant 14.8~14.9 @ 90.5mph, but we're usually dealing with 90 degree heat and a fairly stiff dead on headwind. Our group of PTs always gets some good attention, and we regularly surprise the heck out of guys who never would have dreamed their car could be slower than a PT! Great fun!

Thats cool.We usualy have a pretty big group of guys and gals that go too.Fun stuff for sure.

We usualy see the hot stuff too from around the begining of June till about the begining of September.Plus the humidity is always so high here in St.Louis.

So right now comming up till the snow comes or the track closes for the year is our best times to go for us.And early spring of course.

Do you have the humidity there? And do they keep the dragstrip open all year there? You know I realy never thought about it before.

We consider 30% humidity to be high around here! I think with today's winds blowing we may be closer to 10% or even less, hence our extreme fire danger after 5 years of drought! The track is open year round out here as it's always summer in SoCal! I think the elevation of the track is around 1100', so it shouldn't be making too much of difference in our times, but the hot dry air, plus the constant headwind, does not help.
