Default Rattling sound while speeding up.

Gang,

This is strange. When I am pressing the gas about 50-100% down, 2nd or 3rd gear, there is a very hollow rattle from the engine bay. It sounds like someone is hitting a screwdriver between two metal plates. This has been going on fo some time now.

Any ideas?

Maybe spark knock. Pull the battery ground lead for a few minutes and let the PCM reset and see if that doesn't fix it.

Mike

I am hearing the same thing! I think it tends to happen when the weather is cold?

Arthur, are you missing any screw drivers or metal plates? LOL Reset as Mike said, it may be knock.

You guys are good. Undoing the battery cables did it. Thanks.
