how did you get the stock 15 steelies to work without rubbing on the caliper? did you use spacers or what year steelies did you use?
I don't know what year PT they came off of.Got them at the local salvage yard last year for the SRT.I will see if I can find the reciept and it will tell what year.
Don't keep your fingers crossed though because I probably threw the reciept away knowing me.But I will check.

They don't rub the calipers without spacers but they are way close.I would say about a 1/16'' of clearance. They fit the SRT the same way.

The only thing that I don't like about them on the PT is that the tire is about a 1/8th inch away from the bottom of the strut spring perch.
On the SRT the struts where the spring sets into the perch must be located up just a little higher because the SRT had about a 1/4'' tire clearance.

What I'm doing right now is waiting for some 1/8''wheel spacers from Josh at Performance Dodge on the SRT Forums.
Just to be safe for the tire clearance issue. Not because of the caliper clearance.
That won't change. But the tire will grow with RPM.Hasn't shown no signs of rubbing but I just want to make sure with the spacers.

And again I will try to find out if I still have the recipt on the steelies to see if it shows what year.

Couldn't find the reciept.
Are the different year PT steelie rims different?

I do not know for certain if they are different. It is never something I really looked into. We did have a set of GT rims stolen off of our lot. I put a set a used 01 steelies on it to take it out back and the front caliper rubbed, but only on the left side. I can only assume that the rim was bent if it rubbed on one side only. I have never tried putting them on again on any other GT. Thanks for looking into it though.

Yeah, that Stage 1 comes off REALLY rich. We managed to get ours dyno'd a couple weeks ago and the ratio was off the charts. Actually, it just may be the 04 injectors, but nonetheless. You definatley need a way to tune the Cruiser for full potential.

That is good to know.Thanks

I just ordered my Maxx Fab 0-2 housing and downpipe with the extra
0-2 bung and bung plug.
Soon as it gets here its going on and then I'm heading over to hook the wideband up to it.I still have to order a mapp clamp though.
I will probably do that Monday.

If you are interested in tuning your car you may want to look into the PowerPaq by Psi-Fi.

http://www.ptcruiserlinks.com/forum/...?TOPIC_ID=8561

It allows you to tune your car with a laptop. If you get a wideband with a 5 volt output it can connect directly to the PowerPaq and you can tune to the proper a/f.

This was done when I had it installed.

Thanks.
One of the guys in the St.Louis club has the PowerPaq on his SRT and I have seen the car and computor in action.Pretty cool stuff.

I was originaly going to buy one for the SRT when I had it.I didn't have a lap top at the time so I only had a certian amount of money to spend at that time.
That was probably the only reason I didn't get the PowerPaq on the SRT.

We ended up all going in together on the wideband so its already there and payed for so all I realy need to buy is the map clamp.

Otherwise the PowerPaq would of definatly been what I would of bought for the PT if we already did't have the wideband.

Thanks again.
