Sup guys, well I put my Stage 1 In yesterday and have been looking to utilize the new fun pedal since. On my way out of town today going to dog training I found a 4.6 L convertible ponie who wanted to run. I had no clue what I had under my hood much less him.Rolling start at 15 mph and we hit it and i spun the wheels and pulled a car length on him up to 60 where we let off.[8)]We slowed to the light and he rolled sightly past me with a small glimpse shaking his head. He didn't try again and I pulled behind him grinning so hard my face hurt.I imagine he is under the hood right now wondering whats broke...[xx(][|)]hehe Well to say the least ,I am very happy with the new upgrade. Thanks JPMS, I live in the dog house half the time so I am 1/2 dog and 1/2 human. To add to my two day adventure with Stage1, I was out a little earlier trying out my new Denzo Iridium plugs and wires and guess what i passed? A brand new EVO with a big spoiler on the back. 59 degrees out and the turbo was happy..[?]So I figured well true test are true test.So I whipped it around and punched it to catch up. I caught up to him at the next light and low and behold no one around but the EVO and the PT.I jumped early and he was trying hard. He pulled to half door on me and slipped back when we had to let off for stop sign. Made it up to 65 mph. He did not come close to pullen past me.I fell in behind him to give him the next chance and whe did a hard right and acceled up to some cars and again no gain in distance between us. He slowed and turned into a small neighborhood to my disappointment. He was done. And I still have adddddddrenaline kikin in my blood.[8)]Man I am lovin this sleeper car.My 93 RX-7 is proud and I think my PT wants some of him now.lol

Maybe he didn't really want to run? I believe a stock EVO would eat up PT with Stage 1, even a Neon SRT4 with Stage 2.

Stock Evo 8 comes with 271 HP and 273 torque. He was playing with you.

You have to account for drivetrain loss with AWD, EVO doesn't make 271 HP down to the wheels. A good EVO driver will leave the PT and SRT-4 on a dig. From a roll, the 04 SRT-4 (no Stages) actually can pull on the EVO. A Stage 1 PT doesn't really have a chance on a roll, depending on the mods you have and transmission you might be able to keep up, but its not likely. You might want to look into Stage 2 [], but even with Stage 2, the top end aerodynamics will get the better of the PT.

Morning fellas. Hey I know and understand what you are saying for I camp out in Road in Track myself. However,I was driving and was pleasantly,Excuse me just really suprised myself. But again to remind you guys,we are not driving the SRT or a 350,RX8,etc.We are in a PT.We are in the UNEXPEXTED SPANKER![8)HE just ddn't realize what was there till it was just a little to late. Head to head with him knowing it wudda,or shudda been different I believe too.OR the another option of just not knowing how to drive his new car was a high possibility.[|)] But I promise you 1 thing,He will not underestimate the next PT who comes up beside him and lets him here a BOV at a light.[}]
On the hard right turn he did pull me a litle ,but thats where his awd payed off because I was spinning cheap stock rubber at 35 mph.But after I grabbed there was no more gain. MY word to you is don't be afraid, make them afraid! Jay

Yes I have a 3rd gen 93 R1 Twin turbo.Have some toys on it and it has around 345 hp.Have a few friends with 400 and up which is just outa control for a car that only weighs 2600lbs stock.I like being able to handle the power on the road and its perfect for that. For the strip Those #'s are easily attained in thses cars for the Rotary is a man made wonder for sure.If you havn't been in one find a way and all I can say is GULP[:0] Jay
