Sorry for not listing mods!! [8)] I have been crazy busy!
The runs were made with the following:
-225-50-15 Drag radials BFG
-Stage 1
-Homemade CAI
-O2 housing and downpipe w/CAT delete
-Forge motorsport BOV
-custom rear axle travel limiters Pictures soon
-spring mod on wastegate

The bigest thing I needed was traction. The tires helped out a lot but the travel limiters or traction bars as I call them helped the 60 ft from 2.15 to 2.01. As you know that is a large jump! As far as any secret parts, I wish! The computer is a regular S1 that you guys and gals got. I just got my WGA from forge today. The SRT one will fit the GT because of its factory spec mounting and angled rod. It should be in the 12.90s tomarow.

Holy crap!! No boost controller and you're running low 13's???? Am I missing something here? You did this with an SRT-4 or a PT Cruiser???? What kind of boost are you running with the spring mod on the wastegate? I'm running consistant 2.2 60' times and 14.8 1/4s with S1 and the VAK intake (auto tranny though). I'd love to try those rear travel limiters you've fabricated!

Mike,
I have a 5spd PT GT. No boost controller yet. I usually see a peak boost of 19 for a second then tapers to 17 thenit creaps down to 15 at 4500 rpm then 13 at 5000 to redline. No magic tricks I just have been making things and trying diferent parts trying not to spend a lot of money on things that wont make a bit of diferance. I hate to brag, but my dad taught me to speed shift way before I got my licence I got lots of practice and that will account for a little bit of time.

Now I'm really dying to see your rear travel limiters, and I'd love more info on your WGA spring mod!

I subscribe to the notion that it ain't bragging if you can back it up. You sure as heck seem to be backing it up, so you'll get no arguments from me!

Speed shifting? That's a new one on me. I know double clutching, blipping, and E-brake takeoff assist, but speed shifting is a new one on me. Give us some details.

Just stab the clutch as you pull the next gear, FULL throttle. Don't blow it or the motor can go Kablooey!![8)][8)]

Geeze, so you either land it and keep on sailing, or you miss it, screw the clutch, over-rev the engine and then you're done, awesome. I'll stick to double clutching and dumping the clutch just as I'm coming into a gear.

Again great run.

Did you use air bags or what.

The SRT guys will want to know this trick.

I think thats why the automatic GT Cruisers run good.

You can pre-load the rear bump stops when your break trq.
That way there is no weight transfer because you are already pre-loaded and when you let go of the brakes it puts the power to the ground.

Am I close?
