Hmmm. Maybe I should check them when mine NGK's come in. I'm new at this, what's the better gauge to use to gap them, wire or the flat type? This URL on changing spark plugs[/url] to use a a 5/6" rubber vacuum line to slip on the plug for removing or installing if it's too hard to reach, from the looks of the car, I'm assuming it's not necessary, correct?
I think the disc with different step thicknesses at the edge is easiest to use, and you WILL need a piece of hose or a plug socket with the rubber inside to hold the plugs going in or out - they're down deep. If you're replacing wires, you could probably use an old wire to grab 'em.

to mean green...I agree with you..there is soo much gimmick stuff that people just bite on...I am 50 years old and remember the Fire injector plugs by JC Whitney...suppose to give you more power and 10 to 15 percent better fuel mileige. about 10 years ago the gimmick was the Plasma Plugs same promises....I think that if there is a plug out there that will give you more power and 10 to 15 percent better fuel mileige. it would be installed at the factory..As a famous person said...A sucker born every minute...

I'm not sure if Iridium plugs are gimmicky, since most sport bikes and some SRT-4 folks use them. I wouldn't trust JCWhitney for selling high performance stuff, if other high performance shops never even heard of them. It's like your local Wallmart selling a cure all for colds, when companies like Proctor & Gamble never even heard of it.

Just because sport bikes and srt4 uses them it still does not mean they are worth the cost and give the EXTRA performance...A spark plug ia a very simple design...It seems to me that a cooper type plug like champion would be fine also the platinum tip makes sense in a car that is a pain in the neck to change...like my 1999 dodge grand caravan...I am just OLD School I quess...

Yeah, plugs are simple design, but the metal contacts are the main issue. Metals do get hot, but stronger metals have a better chance of holding out. Once the adamantium plugs come out, I'm buying them no matter what the costs.

I'm holding out for the Stage 2 "Supermanium" plug...if they ever release it for the PT!

I heard they can't be used anywhere near krypton bulbs.

Actually they will be 150.00 bucks each and save 60 percent gas also...add a few more gas saving devices and you will have to drain a gallon or two of gas each night so the tank does not overflow....donr forget the tornado...thats good for 10 more hp....Man i cant handle all of the power and actually making gas instead of using it...
