Default p0733 Gear 3 Incorrect ratio p0733 Gear 3 Incorr

I knew it was going to happen someday.
Everyone seems to agree that chrysler auto transmissions suck.
I punched it after leaving a toll booth this weekend. About 85% throttle.
Tranny slipped, got off it and then continued. Seemed okay. A few miles later a MIL.
Car goes into failsafe mode when trying to shift above 2nd gear.
There were/are no noises from the tranny. Checked the fluid and it was 1 1/2 quarts low.
Topped off the fluid, disconnected the battery, its fine for a few blocks (till I go over 2500rpm) then its back to failsafe mode.

Went to Lee Miles for a free diagnostic.
Scanner showed - P0733 Gear 3 Incorrect ratio
Lee Miles tech says its a mechanical issue in the unit.
He wants $400 to drop the tranny and find out, around $1500 when its done.
WTF.
So it looks like its back to stock and to the dealer for me.
Ugh. Im FAR from stock.
I've got Stage1, Turbochargers WGA, TurboXS DSBC, TurboXS RFL BOV and a BOP.

Also should I remove my Boost and EGT gauges?
Anyone got a stock pillar trim piece?
AND, my TurboXS BOV is cut into the stock UCP, anyone got a stock UCP?

Thanks.[B)]

I am having a hard time figuring why it is the transmission's fault if you ran it when it was 1.5 quarts low....

BTW, last I checked the fluid was about a month ago and it was fine.
How about why it was low?

If your under the 7/70,000 warranty, than you might want to remove all your goodies and have the tranny replaced under warranty.

However, if your putting alot of power down to the wheels. You just might want to find someone that can rebuild a stronger tranny.

I have the stock UCP you can use if ya need it. If it were me, I would leave the gauges. They never said anything about my gauges when I took it in. But, that sure doesn't mean they won't say your tranny is bad because you installed an EGT gauge [8]
Now ya got me scared 'cause the wifey beat the hell outa OurPTGT at the track last week [xx(]
Good luck Rob.

Defintely take off the aftermarket WGA, BC and BOV, but Id leave Stage I on. First off, the code is on the Stage I PCM and besides, you may have a battle if you pretend it was stock...esp with the gauges. Are they going to try to say their crap transmissions cant handle 265 pt?

You guys are the best. I'm having a UCP and pillar trim sent to me. Thanks OurPTGT and Ksquared11! Turbochargers.com is sending me a stock WGA.

BTW Kev the gauges are definitely coming out for the dealer. I went to have a cracked windshield replaced under warranty. They said it wanst covered after they realized my car was lowered! Stage1 ECU is out for the same reason.
Saki, its not even 265hp! Pathetic. Boy do I regret not getting the 5-speed!
If I do end up paying, my $$$ is going toward something that can hold 500hp!!

Will keep you posted. Thanks again!

Rob, if you dealer denied a windshield replacement based on the car being lowered, I would not give them a second chance on the transmission. I would try to get recommendations for another dealer that had their head in a better place. Some dealers are MUCH better than others regarding mods.
