Default Got my baby back

Took my car in late Monday afternoon so they could get started on putting the new transmission on my car. They had it all day Tuesday and yesterday. Egarly went to pick it up late yesterday afternoon. Two days after leaving it off, got a new trany. My dealership is so great. All I had to pay for was the first days car rental. The car feels the same to me. It wasn't doing anything weird. Just took it in at first to see what the small spot on the garage floor was all about. Now I know. So now I've got 22,830 miles erased from the trany. Starting fresh. I'm sure not everyone is so lucky with dealerships. I appreciate mine so... much. There are good ones out there.

Good do hear. BTW, did you ride your PT hard with the last tranny or just another bad Chrysler tranny deal?

So Red GT, what was the issue with the tranny?

And also, who is the dealership (I live the same area as you)!

I certainly enjoy driving my car but am not hard on it. The only reason that I know of they replaced the trany was because of the leak. As I said before it wasn't driving or shifting any differently. I meant to talk to my service guy as to why they thought it needed to be replaced instead of repaired. He told me they felt it was better to replace it. I'm wondering if it has anything to do with the clutch recall? Mine was replaced two weeks after bringing it home. I drove it home last evening and again this evening and it drives exactly the same as before the trany replacement. They had their reasons I guess. Anyway, azptcruiser, my dealer is Earnhardt's Chrysler Jeep on Baseline (Tempe). They have always treated us well and taken care of my GT. A lot of others have spoken ill of the dealership. But I don't have any problems at all. I've had my GT since April 7th, 2003, love it and don't want any other car. Customer service is everything, ya know?
