Default Picked up .05 in the 1/8 with motormount

Sup Fellas and gals. I received alot of goodies yesterday including a JLM motorsport motor mount from Exhaust depot, pillar pod, gauges, EBC, Wastegate ETC.Only had time to put motormount in today to make it to final night at track for season.
3 weeks ago on my first trip to track with PT I Ran a 9.333 2 seperate times as a best.
Tonight at same air temp 66 degrees, same track etc

I ran a best 1st run ET 9.278 I1 2.141 I2 6.026 76.025mph beating an Supercharged Integra
2nd run ET 9.320 I1 2.139 I2 6.061 75.113 mph Integra got hurt ET 9.462
3rd run ET 9.309 I1 2.108 I2 6.041 74.304mph Raced ram air fire bird lost by MOV .009 all reaction time. he had ET 9.273
My 60 ft was much better all around with 0 wheel hop tonight in comparison to last time.I also felt little wheel spin on stock tires. Very happy with just 1 motormount for a .05 improvement..[?] Jay

What does the firmer motor mount "feel" like for street driving? Is there any noticeable thumps or noise or shakes?

No vibration at idle, and can't really tell any difference that its there. No noise, thumps, or shakes. Very simplistic fix for engine movement.

Motormounts? Isn't that standard on any car that has an engine?

Where does one get these motormounts?

Yes, PT's come with motor mounts. However, the stock mounts you get are geared more for ride confort than performance. There is a few aftermarket company's that sell firm mortor mounts: Dynoworks, Psi-Fi, JL Motorsports, a few others (but I haven't checked). Those motor mounts are also interchangable with the SRT-4.

NOTE: The AGP motor mounts for the SRT-4 does not fit for the PT (The bottom mount).

I got mine from Exhaustdepot.com. They have SRT and PT related stuff.I have since ordered a EBC from them to go along with my new AGP wastegate

I put my JLM uppermount in in under an hour.It would have gone faster but I lost my instruction sheet hector sent me from Exhaust depot.Another words,I did it the hard way.[:I]But it was still worth the results. Since then in the last 3 weeks, I have noticed a little more vibration while sitting still in drive. The engine noise picked up a tad.But not anywhere close to unbareable.Cheap easy mod to help with wheel hop. No jacking or anything complicated.Very simple task.Just a regular socket and some muscle. An extra set of hands would always help. But I did this by myself.I only did the upper mount because of the recomendation of TThrift.I trust his info for this is what he has on his.He is way past the HP most of us have. I would post a pik but the site seems to have changed. Can't figure out how to post it.[:I]
