O Wow, have I really fixed the problem. I read in a post somewhere (can't find it now) that cleaning the contacts on the ASD relay (Auto shutdown relay) might cure the flickering problem. So I did that and also added a short ground wire between the Neg terminal of the battery and the body ground just to the left of the battery. And it worked, or at least something worked. The ASD relay is in the fuse box under the hood. Small square thing at the far right corner. I pulled it out and cleaned the contacts with some steel wool. And I think it worked becaues that night I drove from Tacoma Washington to Portland Oregon and no flickering. WoW, maybe.

Is it still going strong? I've only had my GT for a month or so and the flickering is pissing me off royal!

His response was 8 months ago. Hopefully you would think if it didn't work he would have come back and told us. Hyper-grounding (more grounding wires from the negative terminal of the battery) has helped quite a few owners. Cleaning off the ASD couldn't hurt either.
