Default ok WTF

Was driving all normal and when slowing down the locks on my pt started to click up and down.. So I’m like damn the extra clicker I have for the doors must be sticking in my jacket pocket or something get to the jacket and fiddle with it and it stops think nothing of it and keep on going... get home and lock it up and head to work (I walk to work) come home later that night and the lights are on in my car so I’m like WTF as I get closer to it I hear the locks clicking up and down fast slow then fast whatever... now thinking maybe the batteries in the clicker are going so I pop both in half so there was no connection... still the locks going up and down now I can hear by the back passenger door that the clicking is turning into a grinding noise so I disconnect the battery and wait about 5 mins then reconnect no problems so far... while the battery was un hooked I tightened the intake I have and made so it didn’t rest on the little box under it (Air Force One intake..)and I was on low fuel and put more in... Any ideas? I’m taking it to the dealer tomorrow and have them check it out but anyone ever have that problem?

Thanks in advance
Tector~

Interesting

Last week my wife came in from the garage and thought our GT was demon posessed. The door locks were going up and down like a 3 year old had ahold of the remote. I cleaned the battery terminal and put it back together and haven't had any more problems...yet.

We live near a community airport and I wonderd if there was a transmission interference problem or something to do with radio signals on the same frequency as the remote effecting our PT.

Chances are it is the keyless entry module. Either that, or the three feed wires that run to it. Had a buddies neon (similiar to the PT's)that everything stop working and the books tell you to check three different feed wires for resistance. If those are ok then the only thing it can be is the module. So, yeah, your module is probably going on the fritz but keep us updated.
