Gary, already got the BTG strut brace, but I don't notice any difference in the ride. I think I might get the front and rear sway bar some time later this year, if I have any money left. I drove a guys car with them on and you can feel how more responsive the car is now. Gary

Strut brace= bling-bling in about 96% of the installs. Unless you are on the feeble twisty chassis, also called the "convertable", you probably will never drive your car beyond it's stiff handling area.

Why add more weight to the front of the car? Unless in use, it is extra weight, and extra thermal mass under the hood, (read= more heat-soking potential for your intake)

The coupes have about 15% less flex longitudinally than the "converts" do. This is one reason why nobody is racing the ragtops I guess???

Cheers,

Ron

Tell you what JoePro , this is just another area your showing your lack of knowledge about this car. While the strutbars in this thread may qualify as bling/bling this car benefits greatly having the strut towers tied together . Your could by the cheapest aluminum one or the solid bar type I have . If you have an opportunity to try one you may be reconsidering what you've said .

The 2.4 is not a HEMI...It does not have hemispherical heads on them...as a matter of fact the New Hemi that Chrysler has out is not a true Hemi....The last true hemi was the 426 Hemi. The word HEMI is now patened by Chrysler so they are the only one that can use the name....even though the engine they are calling a HEMI is really not a true Hemi.....

Umm ... yes it does. The 2.4L head is of hemispheric design. Yes, the entire engine is not of hemisperical design, just as, like you pointed out, that the new Hemi's are not of true hemispheric design. Nevertheless, the 2.4L cylinder head is in fact considered hemispheric.

According to what DC now calls "Hemi", yes it is.

And they are the only one to do it because they have a patend on the name HEMI...Do a search on yahoo on the new hemi and see what people are sayin...like Don Garlits...It is not a true hemi...There is tone on stuff talking about it...and also about the pent roof...If you use that logic the 429 boss by ford is a hemi...and it was not and was called a semi hemi....
