It's a little noisy as you go through the gears but not bad at all cruising. There is no drone or vibration cruising at anywhere from 50 to 80 MPH. I have the duals and really like them. But then I've had glass packs, Flowmasters, etc. on evey car I've owned since I was 16. I like the sound. CJJ

I have the BTG cat/back duals so here's my review.
First impression, well made, well engineered and easy to install. Straight-through flow design but expanded mesh in the muffler and resonators cause lots of air turbulence.
The sound at idle is a nice low rumble. On the highway at around 3000 to 4000 RPM an awful resonance would set in enough to loosen your fillings. I resolved to change out the muffler when I got around to it. The muffler is between the cat and the back axle in a straight section of pipe and could easily be changed.
After a couple of thousand miles, the resonance diminished quite a bit and became more tolerable as they broke in. A funny thing though, at one point when I damaged a wheel and was waiting for a new one, my local tire dealer loosened the flanges at the rear of the axle to get access to my spare tire and neglected to tighten them back. Well the exhaust system was much more quiet with the leak till I noticed the loose bolts. When I tightened them up again things got louder.
I give the system a passing grade but not a perfect score.

That's interesting 2step. I have the BTG duals but don't have a muffler between the cat and the resonators. Just a straight pipe to the rear axel where it splits. Have never had a problem with it resonating. The car becomes nice and quiet at cruising speeds.

Yes CJJ...I thought it was interesting that my full system was more quiet with the leak than with everything buttoned up. I plan to try a few different set-ups. I could very easily (and cheaply) try a straight pipe, no muffler like yours.
I have a long term plan for a 3" downpipe to a 3" pipe/muffler back to the BTG "Y", keeping the BTG 2 1/2" dual resonators.
But for now I want it to sound good.

I've noticed that the flanges on the BTG system are not stainless steel like the pipes and have begun to rust a bit. [:0]

I had the BTG axleback single and loved it. It had no highway drone but that could be due to the fact that I have a 5 speed. I know there is more drone with an auto. I loved the sound and would not had gotten rid of it if I hadn't gone with a 2 1/2" Heartthrob catback.

2Step. I was also thinking the same thing. A 3" Maxfab downpipe and a 3" pipe back to the Y. Hope to try that out this spring when the weather gets warmer and I feel the urge to work on the car.

Recently purchased the BTG Cat/Sync system to go w/ my BTG Cat/Back-single. Sounds just as good w/a quicker spool-up. Car pulls well with almost no turbo lag.

I found my BTG single axle-back exhaust to be fine once I added a 24-inch resonator: http://www.ptcruiserlinks.com/forum/...,exhaust,mo d

I have a single Flowmaster Delta 40 series muffler on my 03' N/A, and it sounds great. A nice rumble going through the RPM's, no beehive at all. At cruising speeds it just has a nice hum to it, just turn the radio up a bit to drown out the hum. I am very pleased with it, and you can never go wrong with flowmaster.
