remove the muffler
i want to know if someone remove just the muffler and is it like the srt4 for the sound

you could always do like I did and get resonators from an srt installed and it will sound like an srt.

I just put the SRT-4 axle back exhaust where our mufflers go and left out the resonators. It sounds like an SRT-4 but somebody turned the volume up on it.

yeah I tried going without the resonators at first and the droan going down the highway was almost unbearable so I put on the resonators.

Mine's quiet at freeway speeds. Must be the difference between my srt spaghetti axle back and Timmy's custom exhaust.

I think it would sound pretty cool without a muffler!
I WAS thinking of taking my catalytic converter off but now I know there is a 25K fine. Wowzers! noway for me![:X]

I have a few buddies that have SRT-4's almmost everyone of them has replaced the dual exit no muffler exhaust for a single outlet with a muffler. Not only does it still sound mean but it actually increased HP buy a few.
