Bought a new Inferno Red Turbo A/S a couple of weeks ago, trading in my wife's 2000 Grand Cherokee (she hated the Jeep ever since we got it). She really loves the PT, but my Lexus and Mercedes driving friends think I have lost my mind for getting a PT. One of them asked me when I was going to grow up, and I replied never b/c I was having too much fun with toys like my Miata and the PT! I am wondering, however, about the demographics of PT owners. How old are all of you? I am 53, and have in my garage(s) a '99 Miata, '03 PT, '01 Focus, and '98 Subaru......

The info I saw published about a month ago indicated that the median age for the PT was about 50 and for the GT was about 55. Average income for the PT was in the $50-70k range and for the GT was in the $70-90k range.
I hit the top end of the average for age (55). 2003 Almond GT AutoStick, body colored rear splash guards and hood struts, chrome gear shift, AC, and vent knobs. |

Chrysler also has attempted to draw a 18-30ish crowd with PT Studios

We fit the demographics perfectly with our PT GT Turbo. We are 53 and 54 and have wanted a PT since they came out, but couldn't live with the standard engine power output. (our other car is a 2000 Corvette convertible). The Turbo fits our needs and we are having lots of fun with it. The grandkids love it! Painted flames on it two weeks after we bought it. More mods to come. Guess we haven't grown up either!!!!
