I have a 2003 GT and I was going to replace my Air Filter with a K & N unit, while I was at it I was going to remove the Silencers form the Air Box. So I yanked the whole Air box out to make it easier to work on, and upon removing the old air filter in the bottom of the box, it had oil in the base.
![]() Is this normal? I would appreciate any replies Thanx. |

of course it is. Thats just somnething that comes with owning a turbo car. Get yourself a catch can if you are worried about it, just remember to empty it when it gets full.

Thanx to all who replied, I just needed to reassure myself that all was okay. I'll clean it out and remove both Silencers then install the the new K & N filter
