what is the best oil filter [:I](sobody tell me purolator pure one)

I prefer the K&N oil filter. It's extremely heavy duty, and it has a 1" "nut" to put it on and take it off with ease. Plus it can be "wired down" for racing. The structure of the filter is so hard you could kill someone with it! [
 ] It's double the price of the usual oil filter, but you get what you pay for! [:X]

I buy my K&N filters online a dozen at a time, but I've read that the Mobil 1 filter is excellent, and the Purolator filter is a good filter - it was a study by a guy who cut open filters and examined how they were made - what bypass valve they have, type of filter paper, amount of filter paper (folds), sealing, etc.

Here we go again...Like What is the best wax??? The key is just change your oil and filter every 3,000 miles and you will be fine with any name brand oil filter including the wal mart brand...THE KEY IS TO CHANGE IT....

I use K&N filter and Mobil 1 5W30 in both my Cruiser's
Agree changing it is the key.No matter what oil you use.
