PT is puffing
Anyone have this problem? When the car sits for a couple days and I start it the thing chuffs away for about 5 seconds and puts out a cloud of smoke which is definately the result of a rich condition. I'm wondering if I have a leaking injector. It just started over the past weekend. Once the initial puffing is over it runs like normal. CJJ

If the smoke is blue-ish it is oil burning. Not sure it you have a turbo, but if you do, this could signal bad bearing seals in the turbocharger. Darker smoke is rich with fuel, could be a stuck inejector or a PCM issue causing this. White is water in the combustion chamber usually from a blown headgasket, but this usually doesn't go away as you drive..
