Default Selling PT, What should I do?

I will probably have to sell my 03' PT GT due to unforseen circumstances. Should I sell it with the modifications or should I return it to stock and sell the mods. It has SI, eibach springs and bars, koni's and STS. I will most likely leave the bars on.

strip it, you'll get more for selling it stock and parting the rest than leaving your stuff on.

I would first try selling it with the MODS. If you can find an interested buyer who is willing to give you a fair price, sell it. If not, remove the MODS and sell it as a stock PT. Good luck.

Buying and owning a car are two different mindsets. We almost always want the car that was garaged and driven once a week to Sundayschool. Once we get ownership, on go the pipes and wheels.

This is human nature, you cannot change it.

Rules for selling:

Clean, Clean, Clean, then
Polish, Polish, Polish.
(even some new car deoderant helps),
last word.....STOCK.

There is now a tool called ebay for all those upgrade goodies that you love so much.[8)]

I would love to buy your bars, but that aside I would try and sell the car as is and see what U could get for it. If not take off the good stuff and sell them for roughly half of what it cost U! Or figure what you have into the car and see if it is worth taking it off!!

I'd pull out the S1. Someone looking to buy a cruiser used with time on warranty isn't gonna want one with a voided S1 warranty issue. Plus, there are a lotta people who would buy your add ons used.

You will have more customers for a stock car. That being said I will certainly buy your BTG and I would also take the sways if they are clean and have all the hardware. PM me if you want to sell.

Thanks everyone for your input! I have returned it to stock except for the bars and STS and if I get bored I may remove those as well. The STS is a pain to remove so I think it will stay and if I can find a stock rear bar cheap, I may remove the bars. This car needs a rear bar so this could be a selling item for the PT. I will most likely put everything on e-bay and I will post when I do. The demise of SII really put the nail in the cruiser's coffin.

Thanks again,
