ATF+5 is a fully synthetic version of ATF+4.

According to my friends at Red Line Oil their C+ ATF meets all of Chrysler's ATF+4 requirements. They get about $33 a gallon and it is a full synthetic. I think Valvoline also is marketing a Chrysler ATF+4 fluid.

Your friends at Red Line lie (but don't hold it against them}! No, I repeat no transmission fluid meets ATF+4 requirements but ATF+4 and ATF+5!

Thanks for the backup Steve! ATF+5 is a newer synthetic version, for all those who want synthetic ATF fluid, and at $8 a quart is about the same price as the C+ fluid without the risks. [?] And Valvoline is not marketing an ATF+4 fluid, they actually make it for Chrysler. I guess that's why the only place to get ATF+4 or ATF+5 is from Chrysler. [8)]
