Default highest miles

Howdy,I'm a new 04'gt owner,in San Diego,
still breaking it in with only 1K miles.

anyone have some serious miles on their
gt turbo so far, would like to feel
good about the long term outlook for this
turbo-motor set up.

i know it's only been out since 03'
but maybe someone has logged major miles.

9-month old '04 GT 5-speed with 24K (20K w/Stage 1) - no problems except for crappy ignition wires.

Did you do the install on the stage one yourself or did you pay to have it done? If you payed, how much did it cost?

What year is your PT? From '04 on up it's just a matter of switching out the pcm, about a 20 minute job. If you have the auto tranny you have to do the tranny learn which is done on an open road doing a series of runs at certain speeds. Piece of cake.

EmDe
My 01 pt cruiser LTD ... candy apple red, died this week. She had 156,000 K and performed brilliantly until a couple of months ago. First was $800 to fix the gurgle and bubbling in the rad and then a month later the engine over heated and warped the head. Replace the engine with one that only has 90,000 K ($2,500 including labor) she is still running bad, shaky and noisy. Will spend what I must to get her running smooth and sell her. This car has been babied, one owner and well taken car of. I am thinking of asking $6,500 (pd $32,000 new) what do you think?
