More Clutch Recall Questions

How many miles has anyone here driven from the time the noise started and the time the dealer got parts for the recall?

Mine is making the noise almost all the time (started yesterday) and I need to make a trip out of town (around 300 miles).

The dealer called me today and said they have the part in, but will need the car all day. They wou't be able to get to it until Tuesday. The Service Manager says no loaner, or rental; just leave it with them for the day and arrange to pick it up the next day..

Lets see; 50 miles to dealer.... All I have to do is find a friend who doesn't mind following me, picking me up, taking me home, taking me back, and following me home... 200 miles and 2 days... Guess this is what friendship is about; certainly not about Chrysler or the Stealership's concerns for customer satisfaction...
