Default air fuel gauge

does i need to instal a special o2 sensor for a boost gauge instalation or i can use the factory o2 and if how i install[:I]

You should use a special wide-band O2 sensor made (or recommended) for the gauge. They produce a small voltage, so connecting 2 inputs (computer and gauge) to the stock one will cause problems. A fitting (bung) to weld into the exhaust should be available from the sensor supplier. If this is for monitoring mods, check the sites of guys who have done this before. SRT and turbovan guys have already blown up more than you can afford and learned more (the hard way)than you want. [8)]

if you have S1 you dont need a seperate one. personally i wouldnt want to leave my wideband installed all the time...just swap for tuning. S1 should allow you to run without an 02 sensor so you can just swap for the tune and then replace
