Hi everyone...

Just an intro to let ya'll know another GT owner signed onto PT Cruiser Links Forums (that's what I need...another forum to read lol).

Anyway, glad to be here. I've owned a turbo Dodge since 1987. I purchased my 86 GLHS back then, and when I heard that they were going to turbo the PT, I knew I would end up with one sooner or later.

This is the ONLY turbo Chrysler that the wife has ever liked. This one however, she's deeply in love with. We often argue who gets to drive it.

We currently have no mods on it, but stage 1 is hopfully going to be the first one on there when it happens.

Right now our gas milage really is terrible though. Thats due to use coming from a Pont Grand Am SOHC 2.3L into this GT. We need to retrain the right foot before the hides have been burned from the tires. [8)]

Currently I have to use the GT for work, but soon she'll get to spend most of her time in the garage next to the Shelby when I finish getting my GTS Lebaron (turbo of course) back on the road.

Keep it pressurized...

Welcome GLHS444......

I'm sure that you've had many good times with your older Turbos. The Cruiser GT is going to open new vistas for you though. It's not as raw and on the edge as what you're used to. It's a very civilized package and easy to live with on a daily basis.

I know what you mean about getting on another forum but if you do scan through the archives looking for threads that intrest you, you'll get an education that can pay off in extra fun with your new GT.

Ah yes, the GLHS. I remember reading that Shelby called it that for "Goes Like Hell - Some more".
Your wife sounds like a keeper - let her drive it every now and then....

Well...thats the best part about the GLHS, in your face fun. That little car's attitude is " If you can't handle it, then get the hell out! " lol

If do agree that the GT is a much more civilized version of the Chrysler turbo that I grown used too, and I like it ALOT

The old S car will rattle your teeth after a bit. I can tell the GT will be much more fun over a long drive as compaired to the Shelby.

I haven't had the chance to run them side by side yet, but I'll keep ya'll posted as soon as it happens.
