Put in a catch can - the Hausfield Campbell $20 compressed air filter. Got a foot of gas line hose and put it to the right of the air intake, where I felt it wouldn't get cooked. Made a bracket and zip tied hoses to that to hold it.
Filter came with a warning about synthetic oil - anybody concerned about that? Why would synthetic oil (which I use) be any more likely to cause grief than regular oil???[:I] By the way, whatever oil fumes would get in would hit the turbo, then have to go thru intercooler before they'd ever get near the throttle body... Still, better to catch the oil than eventually burn it.... |

please post pictures or links to.I am thinking of doing this. Any suggestions on links?
Did you notice a performance gain, or did you do it for the clean life of the intake?
