Default Slight hesitation
I just picked up a 2004 PT Cruiser GT. I've noticed that there is a slight hesitation when I initially push in the accelerator. Is this normal? It's like there is a flat spot or something. [:I]

That's normal. Just regap the spark plugs to 0.040-0.045 and the hestitation should go away.

Could you explain to me wut spark plugs actually do?

Spark plugs do just what their name says they provide a spark to ignite the fuel at precisely the correct time.
