one month back a Check engine light came on and code was P0441 . took to the dealear , He replaced the purge valve. the fault reappeared after two days and this time fault was P0440. took to the delear he found that LDP is bad and needs replacement. He did not have part , so part was ordered and not replaced.after three days check engine light disappeared, after two weeks today it apperaed again and code is P0440.
I also observed that this code apeared just after restarting the vehicle after five minutes of 30-35 miles drive with air conditioner. Do this can have any relation ship. What can be the cause? |

You need the NVLD pump. The switch inside it is known to be faulty. And intermittant. That's why it can be hard to catch the first time. And why the light will come and go. Essentially the p0440 and p0441 is a request to replace the NVLD.
Take it to the dealer and get'er done!
