Mr. Day I think you nailed this topic but let me put in my 2 cents anyways. I think the most effective part to reduce this problem in our cars is the positrac differential along with stiffer motor mounts. The major problem with this solution is cost and availability. Locking diffs are not available through Chrysler for our cars. The stiffer motor mounts will also put a little vibration back into the interior too. As you said it is all a compromise between cost, comfort, and performance all pulling in different directions for the most part. BTW there is also something called driver skill involved too. Also, it is going to be expensive and difficult, from a technical aspect, to get SRT4 Stage 3 performance out of our cars and stil keep them streetable.

I hate torque steer... My car seems pretty prone to it, or maybe I just can't keep my foot out of it. I'm going to try the Phantom Grip LSD conversion kit before I go all out for the Quaife. You can get them online for 299 and my local tranny shop said about 300 for the install. That's less than 1/2 of the Quaife.

At lot of my old Neon crowd used Phantom Grip. It worked, but not as well as the Quaife. But then, you didn't pay as much, now did you..
