Default Hard Starting...I hate electrical...

Lately my starter seems to be slowing down. It still starts okay, just not the fast spin I seem to remember it having. I thought is was my battery but I tested it last weekend and I have a good 12.5 volts across it. Terminals are clean. Hope the started isn't dying. Any other thoughts?

All new wires and plugs. Besides, it is the starter turning slower that I am hearing, the engine catches right away. Sounds like a low battery but it seems to have a good charge.

If I'm not mistaken, Sears & Walmart will check battery & charging system for free, or buy a hygrometer which measures charge.
Sure sounds like battery...[:I]

I would first check the conncections from battery to starter but what it sounds like to me is that the starter motor is going bad.
