Default RPM's

When I turn on my air conditioner the radiator fan comes on as normal and the compressor kicks in as normal but my rpm's drop about 100 rpm. Should the computer increase the rpm at that time or is this drop to rough idle normal??

you could try cleaning the IAC. if it didn't bother me or affect my driving experience, i'd just smile, drive, and consider it normal

I will most likely enjoy it, I thought I seen it somewhere that the RPM's would increase somewhat when the air is turned on. Maybe not....

Second thought, I will pull and clean the IAC in the morning. Thanx
