Rear Outlet Plug
Has anyone tried to install an outlet plug around the area of the rear window switches for portable dvd and portable game power?
I think I can tap off the lower outlet plug in the center console and rout it back there and buy and after market plug. Just investigating.[:I]

You should beable to tap in there and run a wire under the carpet, come up behind the console.

One owner tapped into the rear plug in the hatch area. He posted some pictures of how he did it. Here's the wiring from the rear plug...although it would only get power when the key is on.
 Here's what he added.I think it was an LED light to light up the interior.
