Well, since Chrysler was kind enough to throw in a towell rack at no additional charge in my 06, I decided to put it to use...
![]() All kidding aside, does anyone know any places selling some kind of replacement for this, or a way of removing it? I think it truly ruins the look of the interior. I tried most of the online shops, but have come up with nada. Anyone get rid of this thing yet? |

I am going to wait for someone to come out with a billet cover for it and the new steering wheel spokes.

I haven't seen anything yet. A friend of mine plans to have a special towel made for the "reck."
Some vendors are starting to produce '06 specific parts, but the number of companies producing PT Cruiser parts has dwindled greatly in the past two years. Many who jumped in early are now gone including some who created the best parts. I'm afraid that this decline will continue.

Have you tried to fit the fancy paper towel rolls from the supermarket? It might look better than a micro-fiber towel.

I'd mount a roll of toilet paper on it and tell people when they get in the car it's for them if they can't handle riding in the PT!! LOL

My friend called it the "oh sh*t" bar... ROFL if there's steps in removing it without any marks that'd be great!
