Default Chrome trim

Hello, i try to put some vynil chrome trim (Richter 3 mm) on the door panel (between the dark and the clear colour) but it don't glue.
Is there something special to do (t° or cleaning with something) ?
I remember there were no problems with the one for the front grill...

Striker,
Not quite sure where you are talking about. Inside? outside?

If you have ever used any type of vinle dressing it will not stick...you need to use a plastic promoter first then it will stick...3m makes it along with a few others...Even if you clean it off with a cleaner you will still need the promoter...

I use "Armor all protectant" for cleaning the interior. So I need plastic promoter ? Where can I find it ? Hobby store or car shop ?
Thanks for the replies.
John: its the vinyl trims you can find in roll, and I try to do some trims for the inside doors panels.

Striker,
ArmorAll contains silicones and that is why the tape will not stick.
As rszappal said, you will need to use an Adhesion Promoter such as 3M #06396 or # 4298. Look for them at an automotive paint supply place. Only apply the promoter where the tape will be applied, do not do the entire panel because it will be hard to get the promoter off the panel later.

First step clean the area with rubbing alcohol before using the adhesive promoter.
