Default Automatic Shiftknob Conversion?

Anyone install a "conversion kit" for automatics, so you can change out the shiftknob?

If so, is it simple to do?

When I first got mine in 2002 I had a conversion kit and light up flame ball installed.. I didn't do the work myself but it only took a few minutes and some mild cursing...Someone here on the forums must be able to give you step by step directions... Good Luck with it...

You mean like this?

Go here and you can buy the chrome shaft and stick any shift knob you care to buy. Easy to do.

Crewzin, I looked at your link and noticed the applications are for 2000 to 2002, do you know if they will work on a 2004 automatic that has the little release button on top? thanx! like the look!

Papaw is right. Sorry, should have looked at the years before I posted. I did a quick search of some of the places I have on "my favorites" for PT accessories and it seems like they all say 2000-2002. Hopefully someone will see this and come with another vendor that does something for the newer PT's.

I found some shift knobs for both automatic and manual.

Thought I would pass along the find.
