Striker,
That's SILL plates, not still. All the inside panels in the PT come off pretty easy. I watched the professionals install my AMP and subwoofer and I was amazed how every inside piece of the PT just pops out or unscrews so easily. Shouldn't be hard to find some wires running along the base of the doors that will give you the voltage your looking for. You'll have to do some testing to see which wires gives power and when.
