Default Chrome A/C Vents

I recently purchased the APC Chrome A/C Vents as a Birthday gift to myself . Well, the bad part of this is that there were no directions included. I know some of you have these installed. Do you happen to have copies of the directions for removal of the old and installation of the new, or happen to have access to PTDIY and can get directions. I would appreciate any assistance guys.

John,

Have heard of people who put them on, in fact Nick (Dragon PT from the Tampa Club) has put them on and everyone says that they are a PITA. Both the passenger air-bag cover and the drivers guage pod cover have to come off and it takes awhile. Good Luck.

Hello John, here is a link for the manual of 00/03 Pt's.
I know there are some images of dashbord removal.

Hope it helps to find screws or other fixations.

I put them on too... they were a Pain in the @$$.

The driver's side you have to be careful with the trip meters' black button when taking it off and esp. putting it back on... it's fragile. Also the passenger side was the worst uhg. Make sure when you take off the dash, that all the clips stay put, and if they don't make sure you put them back in properly (they can pop off when putting them back on).

The easy part of it all was, well, the part where everything is back together, and you're sippin on a beer wipin' the sweat off. Gets hot cooped up in there for a while :P

GLuck

Not as hard as it appears.

Did you figure it out yet? If they are the APC vents they should have come with an install guide (about 2 pages or something).

Just wondering

Yes, they are APC but no directions. I did not have a chance this past weekend to try because it rained most of both days. Maybe next weekend. Also have new plugs and wires to install.
