Best Aftermarket Stereo?

Hey all, I'm not a big fan of the REF (single-cd) stereo that came in my 2006 PT Cruiser Limited. What's the best looking aftermarket replacement? I don't want something that's going to look odd sticking out of the console or have gaps in the facing. Anyone have any suggestions?

I think pioneer is a great system. We had installed by a professional shop for about $300. It looks sharp and they put a nice flush bracket so it's a good clean install.

I highly recommend this...it is not for everyone, but works for me.

I have an alpine system (can't remember model numb) that connects to my iPod in the PT's glove box via a firewire cable. It lets me select playlists and artists, search etc. Th cool thing is that you don't need a bunch of CDs in your car, and anyone who spends alot of time on their computer will apreciate the ability to update your tunes and take them with you. Sound quality is first rate.

Not sure if this is the best, I like the sound a lot and I can use my ipod. The look is ok I would like to do something else with the semi circles on the edges but...

I myself am partial to Kenwood products and have always used them and when you do your install with whatever you choose,you can buy an instellation kit and wiring harness from metro(your dealer should stock them ,if not give Crutchfield a call)That would eliminate all the nasty dashbord holes and give you a clean looking setup
