3M Tape accessories?

All these accessories sites state that the chrome add ons have 3m adhesive to apply them on the car... what experience do you guys have with this method? Does the tape hold up thru weather conditions, car washes etc? My wife just got a PT and is concerned about me "taping" accessories to her car, can i get some feedback on this please?

Also, where do i find accessories for 2007 PTs? i understand the interior body style is similar to the 2006 but are they identical? Help help help

most of the 3m tape products hold up well. the door spears on the pt are 3m taped on. so you should have no problems with anything.
