I have electric seat that move up and down
But in the lowest setting my driver seat is
still higher then my passanger seat [:I]
is this how it is spost to be ??????

I believe this is correct. It is my understanding that the front seats in the PT Cruiser are known for being on the high side.

It has to do with the electric mechanism. I drove a cruiser without the electric seat and the position was much lower. Bad design on this IMHO.

If you want your seat lower and don't need power seats, you could switch out the mechanism for a manual one. I tried www.car-part.com that someone listed on another thread around here and there must be plenty of wrecked PTs out there for parts.

I have a 2001 Limited. The height from the floor (with floor mat in place)to the front seam in the seat bottom is 12 1/2 inches +/- 1/4 inch. It's about the same on both driver seat (at lowest position) and passenger seat. If your power seat is significantly higher there is a problem. If you're talking about 1/4 to 1/2 inch difference I'd say you have a non-issue.

I find the power height adjuster a joke. I always leave it at the lowest as does my wife. I'm 5'10" and she's 5'4".

I find my seat too high too my hits the roof, it wouldn't been as bad if I didn't have a sunroof

I dont have the same seats but i did have a problem with my driver seat not reclining as far as the passengers seat did. I took a look inside and found a penny blocking the hinge. maybe you have a similar problem.
