Default Sunroof

My son was waiting in the car for me and he pulled the interior part of the sunroof closed a little bit to keep the sun off of him. I wasn't aware of this and when we pulled onto the road, the wind caught it and blew it off! How do I put this part back on? The sunroof closes, but the cover (not sure what it's called) is lying in the trunk.

Welcome to the forum.

That sliding shade, if it didn't break off, should fit back into the slides. There's no mechanical or electrical parts. I don't have my cruiser right now to take a look at it as I'm up in Virginia visiting my son. See if it will slide into place. You might enlist the help of a place that installs sun-roofs. Worst case scenario might be that part of the sun-roof has to come apart to re-fit the sliding panel if, as I said, no part of it is broken.

Welcome.
I don't see how that happened....
the interior shade gets pushed back by the sunroof when you open it, so it's always shorter than the sunroof...
As Crewzin said - if it popped out, it oughta pop in....
