i called a bunch of windsheild places and everyone thought i was dumb for wanting to remove the original and out an after market on, though pepboys quoted me $45 which i thought was expensive

safelite auto glass did mine for free. threw the guy 10.00 for lunch. find one in your area and give it a try.
