Default Shifter Knobs

Hello,

I just bought a nicely used 2007 and I think it's great. I actually remember cars that looked like this, on the street. Makes me pretty old.
Anyway, for an automatic, is this chrome billet automatic shifter the only replacement knob? I know about the one with flames but I was thinking more along the lines of a handle...you know? Like on a Hurst shifter. Anything like that around? And, if not, is $65 about the going rate for one of the chrome ones?
It scares me to think about doing it, but what is a good choice for the wood interior inserts, for the dash and shifter, etc?

Thanks a lot...Vince

Yeah, sorry, but for those of us with automatic shifts, it seems to be Flameball or that single aluminum one of Revel's: I've looked around the web, as well as several bricks & mortar auto shops, and those are all I can find.

I'd love to find either a blue ball to match my Cruiser's exterior, or a wooden one (or even a plastic wood-looking one), but no dice. Sorry!

(At this point, I'm seriously considering taking a suggestion from a friend of mine: paint the white ball with touch-up paint.)

Thanks for replying. I'll do a bit of looking and see if any of those options arise and I will let you know if I find something. You wouldn't think this should be that difficult. A wood grain one would like nice no matter what the interior color is. Of course, wood grain door locks would also be nice but now I'm dreaming.

I appreciate it and I'll let you know.

Thanks...Vince
