The 22" vac is fine, without a picture I can't tell where you picked up the source, there are a lot of check valves in the lines to keep boost out and only read vacuum, are you past the throttle body toward the engine not the air cleaner? A lot of people cut the Brake boost line and tee in there, I have the plastic intake manifold and drilled and tapped a dedicated port, see photo: http://www.alcamar.com/dc4/dc4img/valve4.JPG

Also, and please forgive me for asking this, it is not meant to offend you but I have seen unknowing people not know that you need to drive the car on the road to test the boost, As you cannot make any boost sitting still in park with no load on the engine, again forgive me if you already knew this.

Here is a "how to" for the complete installation, just scroll down to the line install and read, and look at the photos for reference:

thanks for that link i followed it to the last detail and i get a max of maybe 4 pounds at best, i have a plastic t fitting instead of the brass they used does that make a difference also i found out while i was going over it that i have a pretty big crack on the tube that goes of the throttle body to the intercooler in the bend right next to the battery, could that be maybe leaking boost and thats why i only see max 3 to 4 pounds. sorry for the questions i know am a pain in the ass am new to the whole I-4 scene i have owned a 95 cobra since i was 17 but i can no longer pay for insurence and tickets in miami and had to go with something else, but so far i luv that little car great power but i think it may be leaking boost somewhere it the only possible anwser i can see to this whole deal thanks help is much appreciated. btw 2003 gt manual with 14,000 on it only mod it the mopar BOV.

YES, that would do it, any leaking from the turbo into through and out of the intercooler & hoses is a bad thing, you should have at least 10 to 11 lbs of boost with a stock PCM & system, and remember that every pound of boost is equal to approx 10 hp so you are missing out on 50 + hp, get your leak fixed and you will have a new feel of power to your car, lookup boost leak tester on the web and either make, borrow, or buy one.

Don't worry about the questions, everybody starts somewhere. You can learn a lot about PT turbo performance where I sent you for that link.

Keep in mind you will boost lower in colder temperatures.

As "Mean Green" said above, this time of year in cooler weather the boost will not be as high as in the hot weather, 9psi with this weather for a stock system is about right, glad you got it fixed.
