Default Back Up Camera

I want to add a backup camera system to my convertible. There are too many blind spots! Has anyone added one to their ride, and if so, where did you mount the monitor?

I have Kenwood throughout and the only deck they have with a screen is the slide out/motorized up type that covers the a/c controls

I will be adding one of the systems with external monitor. If I didn't have so much $$ invested in my system all ready I would switch to a different brand of deck w/ built in 3" screen, but I don't want to give up my Kenwood Sirius and Bluetooth.

I bought a head unit that's a DVD player, has bluetooth, has 3.5mm jack and usb in plus back up camer input, $130.
audio does not have as much control as the big names but it does everything in one unit, I got it mainly to play music burned to dvd but I use the bluetooth for hands free and I may add a back up camera too.
sell your kenwood and buy a non name brand unit with loads of gadgets!

Well, got the backup camera installed and working. I did use a system with external monitor because I really like my Kenwood setup AND you never get your money back out of electronics if I tried to sell and start over. I mounted the 2.5" monitor above the rearview mirror and works great!
