Cool Re: Welt color question!

When the PTCW site gets back up, you can view my gallery and see that I joined all the welt intersections with epoxy, and painted to match. That way it looks all smooth and continuous.

Hubby ordered our welts yesterday
15 ft of silver tinsel and 15 ft of Patriotic Blue.

It's one of those things, that some is easy, some takes a bit more time.. I helped hubby in some places, but then he had to go to the store and get glue for some places (for the tinsel).. but over all it was pretty easy.. but he's still working on it like 5 hours later lol

i really like my welting and my chrome I wonder how I lived with the interior before, I get lots of compliments, once cut to size it works quite well but some glue or 2 sided tape is necessary to help it stick in some places ie like around corners and under the front side airbag above the glovebox door. I put mine around the instruments, center stack,passenger airbag, and around the 4 door panel inserts. See mrmikes.com gallery

well after like 6 hours, we finally ran out!
We need to buy more blue though! and really will probably buy more silver because we loved it
Anyway, we will post pictures soon.. I just love it!
