At the recent IHRA rocky mountain nationals a 2002 pt cruiser which runs in the hot rod class won best engineered award the owner is warren neitsch, edmondton, alberta. this is the 10.90et class. congrats. warren!![8)]

Did I read you right, 10.90 in the Quarter mile??? That's got to be the fastest PT on the planet, That's like 150-160 MPH in the quarter, and probably at least 400-450 HP?????Any word on HOW????

can you say V8, the mph on a 10.90 i'd say 125 or so, And my memory serves me right their is a pt powered by a jet motor also! whew.[8)]

There's some guys in Canada running 9.80 at 143mph on their Cruiser.

Hey there Bud, thanx for the reply, I woke up thinking how a TURBO pt could possibly go that fast, and by the time I got your response I had a feeling it could of been through a V8. My GLH turbo with a custom turbo 2 intake manifold and the mopar interccoler on the hood or behind the firewall standing up, ran high 13's with only 12psi. My '92 mitsu GSX AWD ran mid 13's on 18psi(16g turbo) and lots of Buscher racing products. My '87 GLHS #886 or #986 ran mid 14's with only a stage 1 turbo computer, Now my pt GT has NOT been to the track yet, but with only a stage one and BOV, what should I expect with the auto stick???I was hoping to at least get into the 14's with 100 octane unleaded....Can't wait to able to post a few pictures of that GLH, crazy looking, but very well enginered, The mopar Shelby club called my car, HomeBREW turbo 2 by me (My name purposly left out), I love Mopars and can't wait to see how I need to modify my stock looking GT into a full SLEEPER. Any help would be appreciated, Thanx Stew....
