Intermittent Turn Signals

For the third time my turn signals have failed to function. Last night on my commute home they stopped working. No amount of working the lever would make them function. An hour after getting home I went out and tried them again. No luck. This morning they work fine. This has happened twice before. My car goes in for service Monday and it's going to be hard to get them to make repairs under warranty when the is no apparent problem! Does anyone know what is going on here. Is there some plastic lever switch inside the steering wheel that warps with heat. Has anyone had this problem and been able to get it resolved?

I have an '03 GT, no problems with the turn signals.

Maybe you could get straight to the dealer the next time it happens?

Those intermittent problems are frustrating for sure!!

Sounds like a loose connection somewhere. What a pain. I would suggest pulling apart underneith of the steering wheel and see if you can locate any kind of snag that may be causing it. [:I][xx(]
