PT Cruiser Chrome Billet 2003 Automatic Shifter Knob

Does anyone else have this automatic shifter knob?

The "Button" they supply is thread, but the shifter shaft in not. Does it just lay loose in the outer housing?

hi mike, yes it just lays in there

i have it, i drive mostly with my hand on the shifter anyway but it helps the rattling you here coming from it, looks good but i think its crappy design that it just lays in there
